Some people call him Word, the ladies call him Big Poppa, I call him scrub but love him or hate him Big Word is one of the most vocal players in the MD/VA scene. We got a chance to catch up with Big Word and see what he's been up to and what his thoughts on TTT2, as well as other things.

After a long three month hiatus, VATR is back to host another Tekken 6 tournament. We usually got about 25-30 entrants in 2011, and we hope to reach those numbers again for MASH3D (presented by WHB and VATR)

VATR fighting for the top. Two of our regular players were able to get 3rd and 4th place this year at WinterBrawl. Mr Taxi (3rd) has been stepping up and receiving a lot of recognition especially after LM's Island Tournament. PaulZ usually places top but has not placed 1st or 2nd these past year or two at "majors"

JDCR is one of the most well known Tekken player from Korea. You may have seen him on Tekken Crash, WCG, and other big international tournaments. We don't really know him too well but after finding out Fighting GM (winner of the last three VATR Tournaments) is going to a tournament in Finland, we found out JDCR will also be in attendance. To allow others to hear some of his thoughts and to know him better we were lucky to have the chance to conduct an interview with this highly skilled Armor King player.

Two of VA's very own were invited to "the island." ForMyNinjas unfortunately did not perform his best and was taken out early. It seemed like MrTaxi was heading the same path as FMN after losing his first round but he fought all the way back from the losers bracket and took 2nd! Big props to both players for attending and making themselves known!

Props to Millionz and PaulZ for attending to spectate and to show support! And props to Blackula for getting the stream to work!!!! VATR REPRESENT!

Much love to all those that came out! VATRs smallest tekken tournament with 14 players but still had a loooot of fun relaxing moments, a lot of causals, money matches, wagers taken as we watched the island tournament together. NO VENUE FEE, FREE PIZZA and DRINKS......Good times! Much appreciation to all the travelers

NY came and dominated while Sayco took third. This was probably Trina's best performance in VATR's tournaments so props to her. No matches were really recorded but some videos and pictures were taken. They will be up sometime this week.
